Our apartments are ideal point of deparure for daily excursions in Egadi Islands and all Western Sicily.

EGADI ISLANDS:
The Egadi islands are 3 splendid islands: Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo.
The islands are just in front Marsala and they are easily attainable( Favignana only 30 minutes)from Marsala Port by hydrofoil or fisherman boats.
The sceneries are in fact marvelous and always different among them… the green sea or the blue intense sea, the caves, the rocks and water labyrinths, the backdrops full of color, the beaches of sand and the stone to precipice on the sea, small fishermen town and… a good traditional kitchen. ERICE
On the top of a mountain, to few kilometers from Marsala, ther’is Erice, an ancient town, whose origins are wound in the legend. The historical center, attainable also through cable-way  from Trapani, it is a medieval suburb been intact in the time with small plazas, narrow roads, in bloom courtyards, churches and so many shops of the local craftsmanship. To visit the Castle of Venus, the magnificent gardens of the Balio and the center… not to lose the panorama, in the daytime and at night, from the cable-way!
 
SEGESTA
City from the ancient origins, today Segesta surprises us with the charm of its temple and its Greek theater. The Doric Temple , is one of  the most perfect and better preserved, it rises solitary and stately to the center of a suggestive valley; the Theater, dug in the rock, has a particular position from which you can see the blue of the sea among the mountains. In the summer the ancient theater entertains suggestive theatrical representations that recall 'atmospheres of other times'. During a day in excursion to Segesta you can also be taken advantage for making a picnic in the near  wood or tastes typical food in some good Agriturismo  in the proximities .
 
LA RISERVA DELLO ZINGARO
It is the first Natural reserve founded in Sicily, and has 7 Kilometers of splendid and uncontaminated coast, with a myriad of small bays, clear waters and a rich vegetation and fauna. Splendid the panorama that can be admired coming from San Vito Lo Capo, among the mountains and the blue sea, in a scenery of incomparable beauty. Possible to make birdwaching and to admire some kinds of Mediterranean plants.   
 
SELINUNTE
To few kilometers from Marsala an archaeological site of extraordinary importance: Selinunte. The city', of Greek origin was founded in the VII century a.C. and it is surely one of the most important archaeological parks of the Mediterranean. Here is possible to admire the majesty of the temples, to walk among the ancient columns,  to explore the acropolis with its towers, the bridges, the residences and the necropolis. But Selinunte is also blue sea, gilded beaches and so many places and restaurant where you can taste some good fish or listen music.  
 
SAN VITO LO CAPO
On the north-western coast of Sicily, between Trapani and Castellammare, here is the splendid beach of San Vito Lo Capo, where you can spend the day among sun, sea and  typical dishes of the Sicilian tradition.  
 
MOZIA E LA RISERVA DELLO STAGNONE
To little kilometers from Marsala historical center we find us in a surreal landscape: the Stagnone Lagoon.
It is a natural reserve and the greatest lagoon of the whole Sicily. It offers to the visitor sea, green islets, reeds, wind mills, white salt dunes, tiles and…wonderful sunsets with the sky colored of purple, gold, orange, pink…

SALEMI
Salemi is situated in the summit of a mountain in the center of Valle del Belice, among vineyards and olive groves. It is an Arab-Norman city of ancient origins and, in the in Trapani province, Salemi is the city that has maintained the warmest ancient Sicilian traditions of this area.
The city is clustered around a castle which dominates the entire province to the sea, and around this castle, its historic center is characterized by small roads and divided, segregated courtyards, steep stairs, cliffs and many churches.
Visit the Castle and the remains of Mother Church in Piazza Alicia, the old town, the Museum of the Mafia (unique) and don’t miss some of the oldest festivals and traditions such as St. Giuseppe, patron saint of the city.
